Tryon Kiwanis Club members Ernie Giannini, Lynn Montgomery, and Dick Belthoff rang the bell for The Salvation Army at Food Lion in Columbus on December 12. Other members who volunteered were Rosemary Pleune, Bob Weiner, Steve Cobb, Ed Komorous, and Bob Montgomery. The Clubs tradition of bell ringing at Christmastime began 15 years ago when former member Bob Worsnop, who passed away in July this year, started the project. Usually the Club collects between $250 and $350 each year for The Salvation Army. (photo submitted)
