Allen Vanderford wedding

Kylie Marie Allen of Columbus and Jonathan Sloan Vanderford of Landrum were married December 19 at 5 p.m. at Holly Springs Baptist Church.

Rev. Ray Batson of Alpharetta, Ga., officiated the ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Starlight Ballroom in Greer, S.C.

Mrs. Vanderford is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank A. Allen, Jr. of Columbus. She graduated from Polk County High School and the University of North Carolina, Asheville with a BS-Biology degree. She works for Chesnee High School as a science teacher.

Mr. Vanderford is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mack E. Vanderford, Jr. of Landrum. He graduated from Landrum High School and Spartanburg Community College with a degree in landscaping management. He is the owner of Jonaco Landscaping, LLC in Landrum.

Heather Smith of Campobello attended the bride as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Melissa Ravan of Landrum, friend of the bride, Sarabeth Vanderford of Landrum, sister of the groom, Jennifer Vickery of Elberton, Ga., cousin of the bride and Emily Kellum, junior bridesmaid, of Greenwood, S.C., neice of the bride.

Amber Horton of Abbeville, S.C., Erin Manning of Calhoun Falls, S.C., and Seth and Robert Raynor of Boiling Springs, S.C., cousins of the bride, were register attendants.

Mack E. Vanderford, Jr. of Landrum, father of the groom, served as best man. Ushers were Adam Smith of Campobello, friend of the groom, Hunter Allen of Columbus, brother of the bride, Rob Cozart of Inman, S.C., friend of the groom, Lewis McDowell or Pauline, S.C., friend of the groom and Takafumi Arai of Japan, friend of the groom.

Music was provided by Tim Sloan, Lee Edwards and Sparkle City Brass.

After a trip to Tennesee the couple will make their home in Green Creek.
