Perkins instructs Greenville Foothills Pony Club at monthly meeting Dec. 6

Greenville Foothills Pony Club held their monthly mounted meeting on December 6 in Columbus at the farm of John, Jane, Natalie and Bridget Gallagher.

Throughout the day, Beth Perkins of Hobby Horse Farm of Rutherfordton instructed a total of 15 Pony Clubbers, divided into different groups, about riding in the open, finding the right speed for your level of competition, and navigating cross country jumps.

Participants included the following riders from GFPC: Shelby Ritacco of Greer, Elizabeth Baucom of Greenville, Darbie Barr of Salem, Eliza Culbertson of Greer, Olivia Case of Campobello, Rachael Wood of Greenville, Allie Winter of Pickens, Alyssa Turner of Greer, Carly, Sammi and Marissa Messamer of Piedmont, Kaitlyn Bardos of Central, and Natalie and Bridget Gallagher of Columbus. Also joining in for the lesson from River Valley Pony Club was Abby Moore of Campobello.
