Landrum Cardinal Majors win district championship

The Landrum Cardinal Majors Football Team (11-12 year olds) recently completed a successful season, bringing home the District 1 Championship trophy as well as the ultimate crown, the Super Bowl trophy for Districts 1 and 3.
The Cardinals completed the season with a 13-3 record, winning the regular season, the mid-season tournament, and all of their playoff games.
The Cardinals were undefeated in conference play throughout the season.
The Cardinals won the District 1 Super Bowl by defeating Inman 13 0 then won the upstate Super Bowl against the District 3 champion, Pacolet, by a score of 28-26.
Head coach of the Cardinals is David Edwards and Assistant Coaches are Lynn Stewart, Zac Rollins, JR Padgett, Robert Solesbee, Jonathan Taylor and Allen Younkman
