Sunny View Fire & Rescue recently visited children from Pre K to 2nd grade at Sunny View Elementary School to present a fire prevention program. This years lesson was learn not to burn. This lesson taught children how to be safe in their homes and prevent fires and burns during cooking and home heating fires. They were also taught how to care for burns. The children were also introduced to Sunny Views newest Fire Engine Goliath and the departments ambulance. Several members of the fire department were on hand to answer questions and to demonstrate some of the departments equipment. (photos submitted)
