The Polk County Sheriffs Office will be hosting an Open House on Thursday, December 17 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Sheriffs Office at 40 Ward Street in Columbus.&bsp; Light refreshments will be served.&bsp; This is an opportunity for citizens to stop in and ask questions of the Sheriff and his staff.&bsp; Santa Claus will also be making an appearance at the event so bring your children and your cameras!
