To the Editor:

Its time to end the Peoples Republic of Tryon. The citizens have spoken.

They have thrown the blackguards out. The two incumbents only managed 246 votes, nearly matching the Mayors 248. The new members totaled 354. Now we can settle the annexation issue and get rid of this wasteful lawsuit. The ball is in your court, Douglas. Its time for a slam-dunk.
