Singing for Soldiers fundraiser

The Singing for Soldiers fundraiser will be held at Saluda School on Friday, November 13 at 6 p.m. and at Midway Baptist Church on Hwy. 108 between Columbus and Mill Spring on Sunday, November 15 beginning at 6 p.m.
On November 13 at Saluda School there will be a poor mans supper in the cafeteria at 6 p.m. and gospel singing, featuring Reggie Saddler Family, Phillips Family and the Green River Boys, at 7 p.m.
Reggie Saddler Family will also perform at the Midway Baptist Church fundraiser on Sunday.
For admission, bring non-perishable food and personal hygiene items such as foot and body powder, bodywash, lotion, pocket snacks, protein powder, power bars, pre-paid phone cards, baby wipes, chicken or tuna pouches, beef jerky, deodorant, soap, shampoo, candy, Car-Max lip balm, peanut butter, crackers, bug spray, religious or inspirational books, CDs or DVDs, white socks (up to knee), batteries (all sizes), hand sanitizers, toothbrush, toothpaste, hand and foot warmers, dried fruit, nuts, granola, gum, small canned fruit (with pop top lids), suntan lotion, powdered drink mixes, hot chocolate, chai tea, cup of soup, razors (that use little water), hair brushes (small), combs, feminine hygiene products and harmonicas.
