TFACs Shakespeare To Go! reaches over 2,000 students

Taking a break between performances at Polk County Middle School,
TFACs Shakespeare To Go! cast & crew relax and enjoy their last
day on the road.

The six day touring production played 11
performances in North and South Carolina and reached over 2,000 4th
through 12th grade students in the Foothills.

Landrum High School
students Jerreth Emory and Tucker Lawson performed the 40-minute shows
in South Carolina with Chapman High School students Hayden Bishop and
Karla Nason.

In North Carolina, their fellow actors were Katelyn
Duncan and Shelby Ramsey of Polk County High School. The actors were
supported by Alexa Hughes, Jody McPherson, Mike and Marianne Carruth.

Partial
funding for the tour was made possible by the Kirby Endowment at the
Polk County Community Foundation. This is the first in-house
production by the Tryon Fine Arts Center as part of their Arts in
Education program.
