A Singing for Soldiers event is planned for Nov. 13 at Saluda School and on Nov. 15 at Midway Baptist Church. The fundraisers benefiting active duty military in Iraq and Afghanistan include gospel singing. A Poor Man&39;s Supper will begin at Saluda School at 6 p.m. on Nov. 13, followed by gospel singing in the auditorium at 7 p.m. The event on Nov. 15 begins at 6 p.m. Organizers ask people to bring non-perishable food and personal hygiene items that will be sent to troops.
