Kudzu control program Nov. 9

A special program on the control of kudzu withou chemicals will be held November 9 at 2 p.m. at the Columbus campus of Isothermal Community College.
Newt Hardie will discuss multiple treatment methods to rid your property of kudzu. Hardie is the founder and director of the Kudzu Coalition, a Spartanburg-based non-profit organization run by volunteers.
The Kudzu Coalition’s major objectives are awareness and education with a strong emphasis to involve local students.
The program is open to the public and is hosted by the Foothills Association of Master Gardeners.
