She was a member of Harris First Baptist Church and was the office administrator for Deb&squo;s Mini Mart.

A native of Beckley, W.V., she was the daughter of the late James Leroy Moorehead. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Rhom; two daughters, Christina Moorehead of Mill Spring and Barbara Millwood of Forest City, N.C.; one son, James Arthur of Germany; her mother, Ruth (Price) Moorehead; one sister, Lolietta Avetta of Hickory, N.C.,and two grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by McMahan&squo;s Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 249 South Main St., Rutherfordton, N.C., where the family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, October 11, 2009. A funeral service will be held&bsp; at McMahan&squo;s Funeral Home Chapel at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 11, 2009, with Rev. George Whitmire -and Rev. Ken Burleson&bsp; officiating.
