Writer/Designer/Cat Lover Debra Halborn of Landrum, has been spending this past year writing a book about cats-in-space.

Greetings From The Starcat Cluster ‐ It&squo;s the Place in Space! rolls the elements of a picture-book, scrap-book, and postcard-book into one fur-ball adventure of cats ‐ in ‐the cosmos!

Halborn collaborated with nationally recognized artist, George Angelini, to create 12 illustrations of &dquo;gravity-defying felines rollicking &squo;round the universe!&dquo;

Each over-sized illustration includes text, while the left-hand pages of the book provide spaces for you to scrap-book photos of your own cosmic kitties.&bsp; The illustrations also repeat as postcards.

A portion of proceeds from the sale of Starcat Cluster will be donated annually to feline rescue and feral cat TNR groups locally and across the United States.

Halborn will launch the Starcats on Friday, October 16 at the Red Clovery Gallery at 7 p.m. with the Po&squo; Kitties 2nd Annual Pet Photo Awards reception.
