Arthur Schulz

Much struggle was part of his life&squo;s journey but with persistence and fortitude as well as faith he accomplished much, setting a high standard for his children and grandchildren. Although very strong willed and stubborn he was most kindhearted, caring and generous when it came to his family and friends. It is with deep sorrow we inform you of Arthur&squo;s passing on September 20, 2009.&bsp; His children were at his bedside.

Arthur G. Schulz was born in Nilbau, Germany, the older of two sons of the late George Arthur and Emma Schulz. Arthur and his family immigrated to Long Valley, N.J. in December of 1955.

Arthur is survived by his three children, two daughters, Ursula and Edel, and a son George. Mr. Schulz is also survived by six granddaughters, three grandsons, two great-granddaughters and three great-grandsons.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the chapel at Tryon Estates, 619 Laurel Lake Drive, Columbus.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Oklahoma, in memory of his grandson, Matthew Schulz, 500 North Broadway, Suite 250, Oklahoma City, Okla. 73102, 888-828-4572.
