Auditors welcome at Tom Simmons carriage driving clinic

The Carolina Carriage Club hosts a carriage driving clinic by Tom Simmons Sept. 4 through 6 in Green Creek. Organizers say the clinic is filled, but auditors are welcome, and you don&squo;t need to drive a horse to benefit!&bsp; Simmons evaluates each horse and driver and will often revisit basic ground work with horses who think they are the senior partners in the relationship. In a very short time, Simmons, using the same principles each time, will do some mind changing and teach the owner how to reinforce that change.

CCC member Laurel Pyatt describes Simmons as a&bsp; &uot;Horseman&squo;s Horseman&uot; (photo right shows Pyatt with Mojo). Action starts at 8 a.m. each day and features a lunch chat session, so bring your lunch and a chair. No charge for CCC members, and an affordable fee for&bsp; others. Call 828-894-2437 for more information ‐ leave message and phone number or email address or email madill@windstream.net.
