Talbot&squo;s photos on exhibit in Saluda
Saluda photographer Chris Talbot will be exhibiting at The Wine Cellar at the Saluda Inn this Thursday, Aug. 20 at 7 p.m.. Bentley Adair Andrews, singer, songwriter and guitarist, will team up with Talbot during the evening to add music.
&dquo;Saluda and its community
has been a very inspirational
and an uplifting area for me&ellip;. Their support has helped me pursue my artistic career and abilities.&ellip; In Saluda, we all are a family to everyone.&dquo;
Talbot&squo;s passion for photography
came into his life about four years ago during his senior year of high school in Polk County. He never had intentions or even thoughts about pursuing a career in photography until he had a camera put into his hands for the yearbook staff where he was chosen to be the lead photographer for fall sports.
&dquo;After the collection of photographs I had taken throughout the fall semester, I had grown an attachment and created a passion for photography that has driven me to where I am today. Currently I am a junior at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) pursuing
my B.F.A. degree and I couldn&squo;t be happier.&dquo;
Musician Bentley Adair Andrews is an avid whitewater
kayaker and Asheville Firefighter by day and singer, songwriter by night. Her sound resembles Jewel and Ani Difranco.
