He was son of Alice Wyatt Weaver of Landrum and the late Albert Harrill Green Sr. and husband of Carolyn Pruitt Green.

He was grocery manager at Community Cash and IGA.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons, Shane Green of Rock Hill and Nikki Green of Landrum; a brother,Tommy Newman of Boiling Springs; two sisters, Margaret Johnson of Landrum and Jean Blanton of Campobello; and a grandson, Vance Green.

He was predeceased by a grandson, Hayden Green.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 23 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, conducted by Rev. John Fortner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive, Landrum, S.C. 29356.
