The slap stick comedy won Best Feature Film Award at the Cinema City International Film Festival in Los Angeles, Calif., in October 2008.

In addition to the Saluda area, scenes were shot at the Schiele Museum in Gastonia, the Green Park Inn and Blowing Rock in the Boone Area, the historic courthouse in Columbus, the North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer, Poco Rhythm Ranch in Morganton, the Green River Cove in Polk County, and the Skyland Barber Shop on Main Street, Hendersonville.

Several hundred extras from the local area were used in the film. Period vehicles were furnished by members of the Western Carolina Model A Ford Club.
