She was a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church.

A native of Jackson County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Dillard Mills and the late Daisy (Dyer) Mills and the widow of the late C. Ray Elliott.

She is survived by her one daughter, Becky Elliott of the home, and one brother, Homer Mills of Rutherfordton, N.C.

A funeral service was held at Lebanon United Methodist Church Monday, June 29, 2009,&bsp; with Rev. Ned Owens officiating. Interment was at Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery in Mill Spring, N.C.
