Feed-A-Kid program gets a lift from Carolina Carriage Club

Claudette Robinson of Country Carriages USA suggested that CCC donate to Feed-A-Kid a portion of the auditing fees from the Tom Simmons May Driving Clinic held at Alan and Phyllis Bridge&squo;s Wildwood Farm. The fundraising was done by CCC as part of National Carriage Driving Month.

In addition to joining the rapidly growing group of local churches, volunteer organizations and individuals supporting Feed-A-Kid, CCC also contributed funds to the Polk Equine Emergency Rescue Organization (PEER). In addition to serving on the board of directors, Alan Bridge is a member of the PEER Rescue Team.

When asked if Alan&squo;s buckboard was used to deliver the food to the Outreach Pantry, Claudette Robinson said that would have to wait until the vehicle was restored to its original condition, maybe next May.
