Louise K. Bowers

A native of Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Dewitt Lester and Lois Louise Moore Kay.&bsp; She received an associate degree from Anderson College and was an instructor at Picken County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs. She loved being around people and had a special love for her community and her family.

She is survived by sons, David Bowers (Susie) of Belton and Don Bowers (Cynthia) of Central; daughters, Susan Kay (Wendell) of Pendleton and Debbie Croxton (Calvin) of Anderson; brother, Daniel L. &dquo;Dan&dquo; Kay (Betty) of Clinton; grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer, Jason and Joanna Croxton, Terry (Shelly) and William Bowers, Lynn Fowler and Macy Siegler and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 2 at Norris 1st Baptist Church. Burial followed in Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made to Norris First Baptist Church, 118 N. Norris Drive, Norris, S.C. 29667
