Mrs. Kessler was a former resident of Kenilworth, Ill., and St. Louis, Mo. She was the widow of William A. Kessler Sr., sister of Catherine F. Hoopes of St. Louis, Mo., and step mother of the late William &dquo;Chip&dquo; A. Kessler of Tryon.
