A preliminary plat for the Lake Lure Professional Park was approved by the Lake Lure Zoning and Planning Board on April 21, according to the town&squo;s community development department. Dr. Don Adams, DDS is proposing 14 non-residential lots on 17.74 acres adjacent to the Ingles grocery store with lots ranging from 0.54 acres to 1.11 acres. Adams is proposing to build two roads and to construct an internal trail system that will connect to the Donald Ross Nature Trails at the proposed town recreational park across Hwy. 9.

Adams plans to immediately construct a dental office that he will operate and all other individual lots will be developed by the purchasers.
