He was a member of Landrum First Baptist Church and retired owner of Smith&squo;s Barber Shop.

He is survived by a son, Mickey B. Smith and wife Betty of Landrum; a daughter, Teresa S. Shults of Landrum; a brother, Allen Smith of Simpsonville; a sister, Margaret Neil of Landrum; three grandsons, Baron C. Smith, Travis C. Smith and Justin D. Shults, and a great granddaughter, Jacquelyn Nicole Smith.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Friday, April 24 at Landrum First Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the church, conducted by Rev. Andy Allen.

Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
