Mary Sue Polk

Mrs. Polk was born in Inman, S.C., on November 28, 1929, the daughter of the late Madison and Nell (Atkison) Littlefield. She was the widow of Charles Lindberg Polk.

She is survived by two daughters, Marianne Bailey of Duncan, Nancy Pedersen of Gastonia, N.C.; one son, Charles Kim Polk of Greer; two sisters, Nell Purser of Inman, Aileen McCallister of Spartanburg; two brothers, Jim Littlefield of Campobello and Robert Littlefield of Okla.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Lindy W Polk.

She was owner/operator of Polk&squo;s Beauty Shop and a member of Inman United Methodist Church.

A memorial service was held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, S.C., at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 6.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Seawright Funeral Home, P.O. Box 192, Inman, S.C. 29349.
