Marlowe supports N.C. Medical Marijuana Act

State legislators have introduced two bills in the N.C. House that would permit medical marijuana use in the state. Polk County resident Jean Marlowe has been a leading advocate for the legislation that was introduced on April 9. The act would protect patients and their doctors from criminal and civil penalties for medical marijuana use only and does not change current laws regarding marijuana use for non-medical uses.
