He was preceded in death by his mother, Sabrina Fisher Freeman, and his grandparents, Charles and Geneva Carson and Graham Fisher.

He is survived by his son, Oak Henry Carson of Tuxedo; his companion, Megan Neal of Saluda; his grandmother, Mary Fisher of Hendersonville; his father, Ralph Carson of Greenville, S.C.; and his two brothers, Brooks and English Freeman of Tuxedo.

A memorial service will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the First Church of the Nazarene, 111 Washington St. The family will receive friends following the service.
