Don was a devoted father of Robert James Tyler (Jean), twins Ruth Anne and Richard Wilcox Tyler (Kim).

Don was grandfather of Andrea, Dianna, Temberly and Chris. He was great grandfather of Austin, Ashley, Tyler, Danielle, Casey and Irelend.He was a successful organic gardener in 1979, before it was fashionable. Don was an accomplished artist in oil, pencil and watercolor. He was a master carver who made spectacular and unique hand carved tables; lovable and laughable papier mâch´ figures, some whimsical, others thought-provoking.

Don was published by EPM Publications with his series of &dquo;Quiltoons,&dquo; humorous cartoon books based on his wife&squo;s quilting hobby.

Don Tyler was a World War II veteran and &dquo;army cartoonist&dquo; whose humorous drawings were published in a Boston Army magazine and several outdoor magazines around the world. A professional piano player, a fisherman, his accomplishments go on and on. He was a man of many talents who contributed art and laughter to this world. Don brightened the lives of all who knew him ‐ with his smile, his wit and his artistic talents. He will be missed by his loving family and many friends.
