Charlotte Schulz

It is with deep sorrow we inform you of Charlotte&squo;s passing on March 7, 2009. Her husband, Arthur was at her bedside.

Charlotte Louise Schulz was born in Borbeck, Germany, the youngest of ten (five sisters and four brothers) children of the late Karl and Anna Pilz. She immigrated to West Chicago in 1955 to marry her late first husband, Willhem Bock. She was a registered nurse, working in hospitals in Germany and the Chicago area.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Arthur Schulz; two step-daughters, one step-son, six granddaughters, three grandsons, two great-granddaughters, three great-grandsons and one German relative, a niece, Brunhilde Hass from Muelheim, Germany.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the chapel at Tryon Estates, 619 Laurel Lake Drive, Columbus, N.C. 28722.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Oklahoma, in memory of her grandson, Matthew Schulz, 500 North Broadway, Suite 250, Oklahoma City, Okla. 73102. 888-828-4572.
