Ann Joyner Biscoe

Born in Forsyth County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Howard B. and Louella Gladys Moser Joyner. Mrs. Biscoe moved to Tryon in 1998 coming from Charlotte, N.C. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Charlotte, N.C.

Surviving is her husband, Joseph Phillip Biscoe of Tryon; one son, Coy Shields Jr. (Kathy) of Summerfield; one daughter, Joni Shields of Charlotte. Also surviving are four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2009 in Polk Memorial Gardens, Columbus, with Pastor Tom Olson officiating.

A celebration of her life will immediately follow at 10 N. Trade Caf´, 10 N. Trade Street, Tryon.
