Doug Arbogast has resigned from his positions as chairman of the Tryon Tourism Development Association and president of the Tryon Downtown Development Association. Arbogast, who has also served as chairman of Tryon&39;s Small Town Main Street program, criticized the Tryon Town Council for not adequately supporting business development intiatives in the town. He says he will focus on his &uot;own business endeavors instead of spending any more time on ideas delayed by some members of the town council from achieving fruition.&uot;
