A native of Laurens County, daughter of the late Hoy C. and Maggie Casey Chumley, she was a retired employee of J.P. Stevens Victor Plant and a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Joel B. West of Rock Hill and Andy West of Campobello; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2009 at Holly Springs Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Tim Clark.

Visitation will be held after the service in the church family life center.

The family is at the home.
