He was the son of the late Drew and Ina Hammett Hunsinger and widower of Olsie Burrell Hunsinger.

He was a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church. He worked with Milliken & Co. for over 20 years and retired from Beverage Air.

He is survived by a son, B. F. Hunsinger of Inman; a daughter, Pat Taylor-Royle of Spartanburg; two sisters, Pearlie Splawn of Campobello and Rena Abernathy of Wellford; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. He was predeceased by a grandson, Tim Taylor.

Funeral services were held Sunday, March 1 at Petty Feneral Home. Burial was in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
