The Wolverines took the court against the Vikings Monday in a make-up game originally scheduled for Feb. 3. Avery was looking for its second win of a long season, but Polk won easily, 74-58.

Kamron Kerr&squo;s 24 points led all scorers, and Andre Overholt had 19. Jeffrey Bontrager and Shawn Gary each added nine. Heath Culbreth and Landon Schlabach contributed five each and Trenton Carson had three points and 14 rebounds.

Tuesday&squo;s game versus Owen was a bit tougher. After being tied 24-24 at halftime, Polk found themselves up by one in the final seconds. Gary scored the last basket of the game to ice it for the Wolverines, 56-53.
