A native of Coral Gables, Fla., he lived in Henderson County since 1984. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was an insurance agent with Lloyds of London, specializing in aviation and marine insurance.

A funeral was held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Forest Lawn Mortuary. The Revs. John K. Hill and Chris Pace officiated. Burial followed in the Macedonia Baptist Church cemetery.
