Lisa Laughter

Laughter was born in Spartanburg, S.C., on July 23, 1955, the daughter of the late Barney Roosevelt Sloan and Virginia (Dobbins) Sloan, who survives her, of Lyman. She was the wife of Phillip Laughter.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a daughter, Amanda Laughter of the home; one brother, Randy Black of Landrum; three nephews; and three great-nephews.

She was the nursing home administrator at Inman Healthcare, a member of Inman First Baptist Church, and a member of the Inman Rotary Club.

The family is at the home of her mother, 695 Sloan Road, Lyman, and will receive friends Friday 1-3 p.m. at Seawright Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, S.C., at 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6, 2009 with Dr. Tim Clark officiating.

Mausoleum encryptment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 154 Mile Stone Way, Greenville, S.C. 29615.

Seawright Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
