Elbert Sullivan

Sullivan was the husband of Darlene J. Sullivan, and was the son of the late John Arthur and Ida Mae Owens Sullivan.

Sullivan was a devoted Christian and member of Reality Worship Center, where he taught for many years. He formerly worked in construction and was at one time a barber. He served in the U.S. Army.

In addition to his wife, Sullivan is survived by a son, Ronnie Sullivan of Cowpens, S.C.; a daughter, Vickie S. Ridings of Campobello; one step-son, George Turner of Moore, S.C.; one step-daughter, Lisa Turner of Lyman; two brothers, Wilbur Sullivan of Clifton, S.C., and John Sullivan of Columbia, S.C.; one sister, Doris S. Burrell of Columbia; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at

2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2009 at Living Waters Funeral Home and Crematory, officiated by Rev. Faye Penland and Rev. John Petty. Interment will follow at Westwood Cemetery.
