The Cardinals scored 24 points in the final quarter, while holding Liberty to just 10.

Corey McDowell and Alex Wilson led Landrum in scoring with 15 and 16 points, respectively. Dustin Morris and Shuan Hall each added 11 points.

Landrum (16-1, 6-0) jumped out to a 20-9 lead after one quarter, but Liberty narrowed it to a 33-27 margin at the half. The Cardinals used strong defense and 3-point shooting to cruise to a victory. The Cardinals finished with seven 3-pointers.

The Lady Cardinals also had a big fourth quarter Wednesday, allowing them to come back from a 34-27 deficit after three quarters.

Landrum (11-6, 5-1) scored 25 in the final quarter to get the win.

Kelly Mullins led the Lady Cardinals with 14 points, including a 3-pointer, while Rosaruth Parton had 11.
