He was the son of Roger Newman (Joanie) of Tryon and Carolyn Holbert Bradley (Garry) of Mill Spring. He was a member of Peniel Baptist Church and worked for Upstate Heating and Air. He was a member of the SVT Cobra Club.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Kevin Brown (Lisa) of Green Creek; a sister, Paula Campbell of Landrum; and nieces and nephews, Kyle, Cody, Kailyn and Will.

The family will receive friends from 5:30-8 p.m. Wednesday at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Peniel Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Steve Price and Rev. Jeff Parker. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family is at the home of Ronnie and Brenda Champion, 5037 Peniel Road, Tryon.
