She was the daughter of Carl Calvin and Betty Robeson Smith of Tryon and the wife of Kurtis Stephen Pike.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by three brothers, Greg Smith and Chris Smith, both of Tryon, and Mikel W. Smith of Osteen, Fla.; a sister, Brenda Fowler of Tryon and many loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Petty Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev. Paul Mulner. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

The family is at the home of her parents, 486 Floyd Blackwell Road, Tryon.
