Clarence Johnson

He was the husband of Christine Jolley Johnson of the home.

Johnson was a native of Polk County and a son of the late Clarence B. and Lucille Westbrook Johnson. He was retired from Beaumont Mills, a Christian and a member of Peace Freewill Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Charles Waylan &dquo;Chuck&dquo; Johnson of Walnut Cove, N.C., and Christopher Wayne &dquo;Bo&dquo; Johnson of Spartanburg, S.C.; a daughter, Crystal Dawn Holland of Boiling Springs; brother, Wallace DuPre Johnson of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and a sister, Marie Beck of Boiling Springs. Four grandchildren also survive him.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009 at Good Shepherd Mausoleum Chapel, officiated by Rev. Chuck Thornton.
