Tryon Town Council interviewed an interim town manager candidate Monday morning. Council members separately interviewed Justin Hembree, the former assistant Henderson County Manager. Hembree has been the only applicant so far for the interim position. Council is taking permanent manager applications until the end of February with council most likely interviewing in March. If council chooses Hembree as interim manager, Hembree could begin part-time in mid January and full-time at the end of January.
