Donald Bennett

A native of West Liberty, Iowa, following service in World War II, Don spent most of his life in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., where he founded Don Bennett Advertising, Inc. He was active in the arts community in both Wilkes-Barre and Tryon.
Following his retirement, Don and his wife, Susan, spent 15 years in Key West, Fla., and in 2004 moved to N.C.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Kline Bennett, his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Scott Beale of Manlius, N.Y., and a special son, Juan B. Navarro of Bethlehem, Pa.
Services will be private.
The family will receive friends, Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008, from 2 until 5 p.m. at the home.
