A native of Bourbon County, Ky., son of the late Ernest Gilmore and Addie Farrow Waugh, he was a retired textile employee and a member of Christian Heritage Church.

Surviving are a son, Tracy Howard Waugh of Lyman; four daughters, Jackie Lister of Lyman, Billie Jo Shifflett of Campobello, Bonnie Marler of Taylors, S.C., and Glenda Baker of Lyman; two brothers, Bobby Waugh of Lexington, Ky., and Rodney Waugh of Paris, Ky.; two sisters, Bonnie Burke and Vickie Waugh, both of Lexington, Ky.; 11 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Waugh was predeceased by a daughter, Roberta Edwards; a granddaughter, Stacey Shifflett; two brothers; and a sister.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2008 at Wood Memorial Park, conducted by Rev. Jimmie Alman.

The family is at the home of the son, 168 Lemon Creek Drive, Lyman, S.C. 29365.
