He was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Vera Anderson Camp. He was born May 9, 1926 in Polk County. He was the son of the late Otis Robert and Lorena Brady Camp. He was a retired homebuilder and active member of Liberty Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and usher. He was a longtime member of First Baptist North Spartanburg, where he served as trustee, usher and greeter.

He is survived by a daughter, Judi Camp Davis of the home; one sister, Annie Lula Smith of Inman; numerous nieces and nephews and special friends, Carol Blackwell and Clyde Rogers. The family would like to express their gratitude to his caregiver, Jewel Celaya, who cared for him with love and compassion.

He was predeceased by his son, Timothy Wayne Camp; daughter-in-law, Trinna Blanton Camp; four brothers, William Roy Camp, Robert Earl Camp, John Dean Camp and Claude Ezell Camp; and one sister, Bessie Mae McAbee.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 25 at Liberty Baptist Church, 980 Bishop Road, Inman, by Pastor David Duncan. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Everette McAbee, Davie Camp, Michael Edwards, Robert Edwards, Geoff Galloway, Jim Brannon, Michael Charles and Wayne Joyner.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Liberty Baptist Church, 980 Bishop Road, Inman, 29349.
