Born in Spartanburg County, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Toy A. and Lela Horton Hyder.&bsp; She loved growing her flowers and cooking for her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, Landrum. &bsp;

Surviving are: two sons, Dennis and his wife Vicki Johnson Pace and Dexter and his wife Julie Waldrop Pace both of Landrum; two daughters, Donna Pace Pruitt and her husband Darron of Taylors, S.C., and Debbie Pace Beasley of Nashville, Tenn.; one brother, Allen &dquo;Zack&dquo; Hyder of Landrum;&bsp; and one sister, Pauline Green of Landrum. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Ryan Pruitt, Emilio and his wife Sandra Plana, Joshua Pace, and John Robert and his wife Krystal Blankenship Pace; and three great-grandchildren, Maranda and Kathleen Plana and Jackson Pace. &bsp;

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008 in Fairview Baptist Church, Landrum, with Rev. Chuck Mullinax officiating.

Burial will be in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.

The family will receive friends following the service in Fairview Baptist Church.

The family will be at the home of Dennis and Vicki Pace, 316 Laurens Road, Landrum, S.C. &bsp;
