She was born in Thomasville, Ga., on July 7, 1914. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin G. Dudley of Greenville, S.C., where she resided until 1969.

She was co-founder of the Snail&squo;s Pace, a Christian retreat center in Saluda, and managed it until 1997.

She was preceded in death by her niece, Frances Dudley Meyer, in 2004 and her brother, Charles Bondurant Dudley, in 2007.

Surviving are two nieces and a nephew. Also surviving are three great-nieces, five great-nephews and three first cousins.

A private memorial service will be held in Saluda.
