Market Place: Book store, boutique open in Columbus

Two new stores have opened in Columbus. The Book Nook has a wide range of new and used books and Unique Boutique offers jewelry, apparel and purses. Both stores are located off Fox Mountain Road on Adawehi Lane in the brown building on the left. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.

Integrity Marble and Granite of Forest City officially opened its Design Center Showroom to the public. Integrity has been cutting and installing marble and granite for 6&rac12; years. The showroom houses Integrity Marble and Granite&squo;s custom stone displays as well as a Kohler showroom, and a Design Center offering furniture, art, and decor.

Customers may visit to view design options and learn about natural and engineered stone. Estimates and consultations are free and services include design, custom cutting and installation. The cutting and installation technicians are certified through Isothermal Community College&squo;s Certified Fabrication Professional Program and National Training Center for Stone and Masonry Trades and are factory trained in Cachoeiro de Itapemirim in Brazil.

During November and December, Country Peddler Antiques and General Store has joined Country at Heart (which features custom Christmas florals and bows) in the Belk&squo;s end of the Westgate Mall in Spartanburg. The Campobello store is open as usual.

The Chamber of Commerce recently held a ribbon cutting for High Tech Heaven and The Ultimate Basement, owned by David Weisberger, which recently opened. The business is located at 5965 Hwy. 9 N. in Mill Spring.
