Parker was found guilty of attempted first degree murder and of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury, says the district attorney&squo;s office.

The stabbing occurred on December 29 of last year. Parker was charged with stabbing his wife, Bridget Kelley, once in the hand, once in the face and once in the back, according to the district attorney&squo;s office.

Attorney Douglas Mundy tried the case for the state. Judge Mark E. Powell presided in the case.

Sentencing will be held on December 19, according to the Polk County Clerk of Court office. The district attorney&squo;s office says Parker could face between 392 months and 470 months in jail on the class B felony charge of attempted first degree murder.&bsp; The office says he could face between 210 and 261 months on the class C felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury.

Parker, who pled not guilty in the trial, is being held in Polk County Jail until the sentencing.
