William Burrell

Burrell was born in Landrum on July 28, 1950, the son of William Jay and Eunice (Blanton) Burrell of Inman.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Spartanburg, and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of the University of Texas in El Paso, and was the owner/operator of Carolina Hobby Shop in Gaffney.

In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by two sons, Richard Dean Burrell of Landrum, and Jeffrey Burrell and his wife Mary of Inman; one brother, Randall Steve Burrell and his wife Carol of Landrum; one nephew Ricky Burrell of Landrum; two grandsons, Jackson and William Burrell; two step-grandchildren Brittany and Brandon Moseley, and his best friend, Darrell Bogan of Spartanburg.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday,

Nov. 4, 2008 at Seawright Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008, with Rev. Donnan Lawson officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Inman, S.C.

The family is at the home of his parents, 709 Bryant Road, Inman, S.C.
